I have always loved personal development books. Over the last decade I have been obsessed with improving myself. I wanted to know why some people seem that have things come easily and others seem like it is a challenge. I personally felt like for a long-time things were harder for me and that I had to work so much harder than other to have nice things.

After reading so many personal development books, I’ve been able to understand how to improve my life and get the results that I want in life. These are the best books that I have read. If you want to change your life, check out the books below.

  1. “Atomic Habits” by James ClearIf you really want to make small changes that build to have a large impact, “Atomic Habits” is a great book for you read. This book focuses on the power of small habits and how they can lead to significant changes over time. The book provides strategies on creating new habits and how to break the bad ones.
  2. “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon HillThis is a classic book in the personal development space. Many of the popular self-help coaches incorporate lessons that are shared in “Think and Grow Rich”. The book outlines principles for achieving financial and personal success, emphasizing the power of thought and desire.
  3. “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. CoveyThis book offers a principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems, focusing on seven habits that can lead to success.
  4. “You are a Badass” by Jen SinceroThis is one of my favorite tough love books! Jen shares her story of a low energetic life and how she struggled financially for years. The book is not your typical self-help book but allows for a humorous and inspiring guide that helps readers break free from self-doubt and create a life they love, focusing on self-empowerment and confidence.
  5. “Daring Greatly” by Brene BrownExplores the power of vulnerability and how embracing it can lead to a more fulfilled and authentic life. Brown encourages readers to face fear and shame to achieve personal growth.
  6. “Change Your Paradigm, Change Your Life” by Bob ProctorThis book only comes in an audible version. I listen to it on repeat at least once a month. Bob Proctor is one of the original’s in self-help and transformation. He explains why changing ourself and habits is so hard and gives practical tips and exercises to help make change in your life. He also gives real examples of people who completely changed their life.
  7. “The 5 Second Rule” by Mel RobbinsI first read this book in 2020 during the pandemic. I was really struggling with some personal things and this book was spoke to many of the feelings that I had about my dreams and entrepreneurship.
  8. “The Big Leap” by Gay HendricksIf you want to know why anytime you make progress you self-sabotage, “The Big Leap” is for you! This book shares what advancing and improving is a challenge and how to take the big leap in your life and maintain it.
  9. “5am Club” by Robin SharmaThis is another great book on habits. Robin highlights the benefits of starting your day at 5am. You don’t have to get up at 5am but there are practical tips on how to start your day off right and carry you throughout the day.

There are so many great books. These ones are the books that have helped me improve my habits and change my mindset to improve my life. Some of these books are what have helped me to go from a corporate career to becoming my own boss making six figures a year.
